Like all airports around the world, Brisbane Airport can be tricky to navigate and parking costs vary considerably depending on where you decide to park your car. For this reason we have given a brief overview of the Brisbane Airport parking options below, in order to help you do a bit of pre-planning.
Brisbane Domestic airport has 4 main on-site car parking options.
- PARKQUICK
- PARKSHORT
- PARKLONG
- PARKVALET
Parkquick is located within easy walking distance of the domestic terminal so is ideal for picking up passengers. It costs $2 for upto 15 minutes.
Parkshort is best for parking stays upto 4 hours. 1 hour costs $13, 2 hours $16, 3 hours $20 and 4 hours $22. Anything over 4 hours costs $50 in the Parkshort section, which is also adjacent to the domestic terminal.
Parklong caters for stays beyond 4 hours, it is located within easy walking distance to the domestic terminal through undercover walkways. The cost for this section is $35.00 for 1 day, $55.00 for 2 days, $75.00 for 3 days, $95.00 for 4 days, $115 for 5 days, $130 for 6 days and $140 for 7 days($10 per day thereafter).
Parkvalet costs an extra $25 on top of the Parklong rates(eg 1 day is $60 for Parkvalet), it is located on floor 3 of the Parklong multi-storey carpark. A car wash is available on request for a further $39 for an exterior wash going upto $250 for a premium detail service, the car being ready on your arrival.
Brisbane International Terminal also has 3 parking options, based along similar lines. Parkquick is also $2 for upto 15 minutes and is aimed at people picking passengers up, Parkshort has the same parking rates as in the domestic terminal ranging from $13 for one hour to $50 for over 4 hours. Parklong also has the same rates as the domestic terminal, ranging from $35 for 1 day to $140 for 7 days. Parkvalet being available at the same rate as the domestic, $25(ontop of the Parklong rate) as well as the car wash from $39 upwards depending on the service level.
Brisbane airport does have several alternative parking options offsite.
Budget airport parking on the corner of Nudgee Road and Airport Drive is on average 40% cheaper than the onsite parking if you choose to park your car in their open air section. Undercover will save around 33% against the onsite parking rates. For example 7 days at Budget airport parking would cost $77 in the open air and $97 in the undercover section wheras the Aiport Onsite parking will cost $140 for 7 days undercover. Budget airport parking also offer a car wash service ranging from $60 to $150 depending on the service level, the base service being far more comprehensive than the base service of the airport onsite service that is priced at $39. Of course being offsite, they run bus shuttles from the car park to the airport and guarantee that you will not be waiting more than 10 minutes on your return.
Another Offsite Alternative is Andrew’s Airport Parking. Their rates are very similar to Budget airport parking above though they do offer a mechanical service on your car while you are away as well as repairs and a washing and detailing service. They have a bus shuttle service.
