RRAMP at the Brisbane Powerhouse Theatre
The Brisbane Powerhouse Theater presents “RRAMP – The Collector, The Archivist, The Electrocrat”. The long time collaborators behind Fluff, Piannissimo and Decent Spinster are back but this time as a band. RRAMP is a combination of electronica rock music and dance as well as as story, humour and animation. It is a performance done by the collaboration of three great performers namely Christine “The Collector” Johnson, Lisa “The Dancing Archivist” O’Neill, and Peter “The Electrocat” Nelson. The band is set to perform on stage on July 25-28, Wednesday to Saturday, at 8:30pm.
RRAMP features a tall, lonesome lady-of-the-house who likes to keep her collections and memories in jars which she stores in the rooms of her big house. She managed to get two unsuspecting members to join her band and all three of them are set to give their audiences a very humorous, entertaining and exquisitely animated performance. The performance will revolve around unexpected yet compelling stories of archives, collections, pets, childhood imaginings and human frailty. The animation is done courtesy of Ahmarnya Price.
RRAMP is known for giving excellent performances and this one should be no exception. A lot of prominent people as well as music artists and celebrities are expected at the RRAMP performance in Brisbane. Thus, it is advisable that if you’re planning on watching RRAMP at the Brisbane Powerhouse Theater this coming July, then you should book your tickets early and in advance to get good seats and avoid any inconveniences such as tickets being sold out.
